SLS free or SLES free shampoos, are one of the hottest products in hair styling today. Health-conscious consumers are increasingly concerned about the chemicals in everything they use, from food to beauty products.
In some cases, SLS and SLES have been known to irritate the skin and hair cells, they can be absorbed by the liver and can mimic the effect of the hormone oestrogen in the body.
Parabens are chemicals used as preservatives, and that’s why they are found in so many products. They are used to fight bacteria and fungus, are widely available, and cost very little to manufacture and use. Nearly all of the parabens used as preservatives are man-made and not naturally occurring.

The best way to trap moisture in hair is to use an oi land water or a “fatty ” based product designed to coat and seal. Oils are made of large molecules. These molecules are too large to be absorbed by the hair strand. Instead what it does is coat the strands and seal in the moisture that is already in the hair. So the key to avoiding dry hair is to hydrate and seal.
To condition hair, After washing, apply a small amount to your wet hair. Apply from root to tip. Rinse. For an intensive conditioning, leave in for up to 2 minutes before rinsing.

The first thing that got me was the pretty lavender seen in the see through bottle then the lavender smell . I used it after having a Brazilian blow dry . The shampoo lathers lovely and the infused lavender and argan oil can be felt after conditioning . The conditioning is great for co washing too. I also use it on my nephew's mix race hair. So easy to comb afterwould. He's never had head lice while using the Pure range . So perhaps lavender truly is a deterant .
