"................Tell us a bit about you, your experience and your salon I first got into hairdressing whilst studying for my A Levels – I took it on as a hobby and I became addicted! I continued to pursue my interest in hair through University and decided that it was the career path I wanted to take. After working at Millers in East Sheen for 12 years I went on to open my own salon in Mortlake, Richmond in February 2003.

Hector’s Global Hair with Zeal is now a multi award-winning unisex salon. Our stylists have worked hard to earn an array of accolades including 6 time Winners of the National Colourist of the Year, Weave and Extensions Stylist of the Year and Regional Stylist of the Year Awards.

We are also currently Braid / Extensions Stylists of the Year, (2011, 2012 and 2013), Great Lengths Bridal Finalist 2012, Great Lengths Consumer Award Winner 2013, Finalist 2012 and Winner in 2013 National Bridal Hair. We have also gained 4 Stars in the Good Salon Guide!

I do a lot of styling work for media as well as working in the salon, which I love! Over the years my creations have been featured in a variety of national and regional magazines including Black Hair UK, Black Beauty and Hair UK, The Guardian, Vogue UK, Tatler, Pride, MyHairdresser.com UK and Russia, Sophisticate Black Hair USA, Coscus Russia and The Richmond Times.
