Cotton Pouch Boxers

A contoured front pouch, a snug fit and breathable cotton. Most pouch underwear is made from micromodal, bamboo or synthetics; ours is cotton, from £12.50.

What a pouch actually does

A pouch is a contoured panel at the front of the underwear, shaped to hold everything forward and separate from the thighs. A flat-fronted pair presses everything against your legs; a pouch gives it its own space.

In practice that means less adjusting through the day, less skin-on-skin contact and less chafing when you walk, sit or train. Once men try a pouch, most don't go back to a flat front.

Why cotton

Most pouch underwear brands use micromodal, bamboo or synthetic blends. We use cotton. It is breathable, soft against the skin and easy to look after, and it is what many men simply prefer to wear every day.

To be honest about where each fabric wins: for long runs in hot weather, a synthetic wicking fabric handles heavy sweat better than cotton. For everyday wear, work, travel and the gym, cotton is comfortable and breathable all day.

The pouch styles we make

Boxers: snug-fit cotton boxers with a contoured pouch, including 2-packs.

Adinkra boxers: our heritage range, with designs inspired by West African Adinkra symbols, on the same cotton pouch cut.

Jocks: a waistband, a pouch and open back straps, from £12.50.

Men's sports underwear: pouch styles in our sports range for training days.

The fit makes the pouch work

A pouch only does its job if the waist fits. Too big and the pouch sits low; too small and it pulls. Our pouch boxers are cut snug, so measure your waist where the waistband sits and choose that size.

Our underwear size guide covers waist sizes from 28 to 38 inches and explains what to do if you are between sizes.

Pouch underwear and chafing

Chafing happens when skin rubs on skin, which a pouch reduces by keeping things apart. Pair that with a fit that doesn't ride up and most everyday chafing disappears. Our anti-chafing guide goes into more detail for gym and hot days.

Pouch boxers questions

Is pouch underwear worth it? If you find yourself adjusting through the day or get chafing, yes. It is the single biggest comfort difference between pairs.

Is a pouch noticeable under clothes? No. It shapes the front slightly, but under trousers it looks like any other pair.

What sizes do you make? Waist sizes from 28 to 38 inches, depending on the style, with letter sizes shown on some pairs.

How should I wash them? Follow the care label on the pair.
