Can people tell I'm wearing a hair system?

It's the question almost every man asks us first. A good system that has been properly fitted and cut in isn't noticed in everyday life. When systems are spotted, it is nearly always for one of four fixable reasons.

Colour, density, hairline and maintenance. A system that is a shade off your own hair at the sides shows immediately. Too much hair is the most common mistake: men want thick hair, but a density you have never had at your age looks wrong. A razor-straight hairline looks fake. And a system left too long between visits starts to lift at the front.

Up close, the hairline is what matters. Lace bases give the most natural hairline because the mesh disappears against the skin. We also shape the hairline to suit your age; a slightly irregular, softly receded line looks far more real than a perfect one.

That is the cut-in. We cut the system into your own hair so there is no step between them, the same way we would blend a fade. It's why a system should be fitted by someone who cuts hair well, not just someone who bonds it.
