Great Lengths bonds vs tapes: which is better for me?

Great Lengths bonds are individual strands that last three to five months, move freely and can be worn up. GL Tapes are flat wefts that fit faster, are refitted every four to eight weeks and can be reused. Bonds suit versatile styling; tapes suit fine hair and clients who want quicker appointments.
What's the actual difference between Great Lengths bonds and Great Lengths tapes?
Bonds are individual strands, each attached to a small section of your hair with the Great Lengths keratin bond. Tapes are thin, flat wefts that sandwich a section of your hair between two tapes. Both are Great Lengths hair; it's the attachment that differs.
Which lasts longer?
Bonds. Pre-Bonded lasts three to five months before removal. Tapes need a refit every four to eight weeks, but each tape can be reused up to three times, so a tape refit is really a move back up to the root rather than a new set.
Which looks more natural if I wear my hair up?
Bonds. Because each strand is separate, they move like your own hair and are much easier to hide in a ponytail or high updo. Tapes sit flat and are very discreet worn down, but need more careful placement for high styles.
My hair is quite fine.
Then we would probably look at tapes or Pre-Bonded Mini, which uses smaller bonds with less hair per strand. For thinning at the temples or parting, Great Lengths also makes Tapes+. The goal is to spread the weight so your own hair isn't carrying too much.
